Voices of Tolerance education

What are freedom and (religious) tolerance worth today? What do freedom and tolerance actually mean? How do they relate to each other? In Voices of Tolerance, Museum Ons’ Lieve Heer op Solder goes in search of answers to these questions.

Voices of Tolerance educational programme

In the Voices of Tolerance educational programme, that has been granted official patronage by UNESCO Nederland, students reflect together on topical themes such as tolerance and freedom. Since its inception in the Golden Age of the Netherlands, the Roman Catholic Attic Church in Museum Ons’ Lieve Heer op Solder has been a place of religious freedom and tolerance. And from this history, today's museum has become a unique place of debate and dialogue on tolerance.

An organic way of working, that represents everything we stand for. Voices of Tolerance has been developed together with teachers, students, parents and cultural and social institutions such as UNESCO-NL.

The development of the new educational programme was made possible with support from the vfonds, the national foundation for peace, freedom and care for veterans.
